This year’s Peace Park was one for the books. Burton, Danny Davis and Mountain Dew linked up, once again inviting Burton team riders from all over the globe to link a few carves, throw down stylish methods and push the limits of park riding—all while having a grand ole time.
In a world of contests and competitions, it’s awesome to see these guys just relax and have fun riding park. Laid out backflips, euro carves and, in particular, Ben Ferguson’s stylish butters reminded us about why we started snowboarding in the first place.
It didn’t hurt that this year, Grand Targhee Resort saw a little storm in the middle of Peace Park. Of course, the Burton team didn’t hesitate to get after the pow, chasing white rooster tails like a pack of coyotes cloaked in Gore-Tex.
We can only hope this tradition continues for years to come. Happy shredding!
