CamelBak always comes up with great solutions for hydration. Like their backpack-style models, this bottle is great. It doesn't leak and it's a fun. The problem is (and it's the same with their flagship backpacks) is the valve. It's great to use, but a pain to clean. Getting all of the soap out is tricky. And if you don't clean it, it's a mildew farm. So there's a fair chance your water will either taste like soap, or mildew. Other than the valve cleaning thing, they're great. They're a little trickier to clean than other bottles or canteens, but they're also easier and more fun to use. Overall, I'd recommend it.

I am an all sport enthusiast, and the one piece of precious cargo that never leaves my side, is my trusty bite valve CamelBak. Whether I am sweating it out in hot yoga, or re-hydrating between surf sessions, you will always find a CamelBak by my side. The best thing about this product is there is no need to waste time unscrewing a lid, taking off a top, and most importantly, especially in my case, spending time cleaning up a spill on yourself or in your bag because you thought you put the lid on tight enough. I own several of these bottles and put them all through the ringer. The only problem I have had is the bite valve piece has come off, but only after months of abuse. I do believe this flaw has been fixed as I have recently purchased a new CamelBak and the bite valve seems to be much sturdier. I will get out and use my new bottle and report back!
