Electric Goggles: 2013 Sneak Peek

Published on 02/03/2012

Electric Visual has some exciting new developments in their line this year including new styles, technology and initiatives. The EG2 is one of their popular flagship goggles that came out in '05. They've revamped it this year with more solid colors and prints. The EG2 has an oversize spherical lens and a pared down frame to give you better peripheral vision.

They've also introduced the R.I.D.S. program, which is a Rider Inspired Design Series. They showed us the Pat Moore goggles, which include their new eyeblack technology. These goggles have light absorbent paint on the inside of the frame to help eliminate unwanted glare on the inside of the lens. It also helps reduce any light reflecting from the colors on the outside of the frame that can distract the eye.

Electric is also cutting down waste and preserving the environment with their new packaging initiative. All of their premium goggles will be sold with reusable thermal cases so they don't have to use tissue and cardboard boxes that end up in the trash.
