Do you have a powder deficiency? It can manifest itself in the form of restlessness in the back bowls that used to get your blood pumping, or extreme impatience and boredom in the lift line. If this hits you, the only solution is to break free of the resort and head into the side or backcountry. When you do, you are going to need a good pack to carry your avalanche tools, water and extra layers. We've put together a series of daypacks that have all the features you need to venture away from the whirring lifts and into the powder-rich beyond. Hurry up friends; the feast is out there waiting.
