Brolin Mawejje’s Far From Home

This isn’t your average snowboarding story. Brolin Mawejje was born in Kampala, Uganda, moved to Boston at the age of 11 and eventually made his way to Jackson Hole in 2009. But the journey behind him is almost as long as the one he has in front of him: he’s hoping to a) become a doctor and b) represent Uganda in the 2018 Winter Olympics. 

An inspiring tale that touches on the importance of family and friends, hard work and chasing your dreams, Brolin’s story takes viewers, well, Far From Home. There’s plenty of snowboarding in here, too, as local legends have taken the ambitious young Brolin under their wings.
