National Geographic’s Yearlong Celebration of National Parks

If you’re an outdoor lover, chances are you’ve spent amazing days at one or more of our nation’s national parks. At the very least, photos of national parks have likely graced your desktop screensaver. 

In 2016, National Geographic is celebrating a century of the National Park Service, committing to “explore the power of parks.” This yearlong effort will delve into the history of the parks, examine our current relationship with nature and, perhaps most importantly, take a look at how our parks will fare in the future.
