Riksgränsen: Salomon Freeski Travels to Sweden

Alaska and Japan. The Alps and the Andes. All obvious choices for that dream ski vacation. But does Sweden make the list?

Salomon Freeski’s latest episode puts Riksgränsen on the radar, and suggests that we pay a little more attention to this storied Swedish ski resort. With huge gaps and more side hits than you could ask for, Riksgränsen looks almost as exciting to ski as it is difficult to pronounce. Plus, even if you can’t afford to go heliskiing on Sweden’s highest mountain (30 minutes away), the easily accessible backcountry merits a few days of exploring.

And, you never know: you just might be sharing a chairlift with one of Sweden’s most legendary freeskiers.
