Roll with it - All of it: Startup aims to convert standard bikes for cargo duty

Active Junky watched the urban bike store near our Denver, Colorado headquarters, Salvagetti, work to bring style and substance to urban cycling. Now, one of the founders, Scott Taylor, is hooking us all up with $900 kits that claim to replace the $3,000 or more investment needed for a cargo-specific bike. He’s got legit help in building the frames and our team is standing by to load-and-go when they’re ready to roll on evaluation samples. With more and more cities achieving workable levels of bike friendliness, there are increasing incentives to swap motors for muscles well beyond simply commuting (which is a great step itself).
