Rolland’s X Games Ski SuperPipe Winning Run

Dropping in to the SuperPipe to the sound of his coach roaring away in French, Kevin Rolland was beyond focused. The Frenchman took top honors at the X Games in Aspen last night, over fan favorite and Colorado local Gus Kenworthy. 

Absolutely huge tricks and technical combos—as well as squeezing an extra hit in at the bottom of the pipe—earned Rolland the gold medal. Thursday night went off with a bang, and with the majority of the Games coming up today and tomorrow, we couldn’t be more stoked for what’s ahead.
