Boarding Beneath the Baobobs: Skating Madagascar

This crew was likely the first to skate beneath Madagascar’s iconic Baobob trees. Pushing into the mist, red dirt churning beneath their polyurethane wheels, these skaters found more than just good skate spots on their expedition to Madagascar.  

Genuine smiles and laughter broke down language barriers, as locals tried to ride the unfamiliar skateboards and hooted in aw as the pros sessioned never-before-ridden spots. Though the riding itself is top-notch, it’s clear that this “skate trip” was more about the “trip” than the “skate.”
