Time to bare your biceps. Scientists at, no really, the Center for Wearable Sensors, are putting their San Diego-based brains to work on a skull-rattling problem. By passively detecting alcohol in skin sweat, the small (and removable) device offers continual monitoring without breathalyzer motions. An annual challenge offered by a department within the National Institutes of Health throws in $200,000 each year to encourage such innovation.
