Anon’s switched up the poles, bringing magnetic tech to the women’s hemisphere as well. The WM1 matches a spherical lens to a smaller, fully vented TPU frame via 9 magnetic connection points. Though our lady tester, a big mountain skier and ski patroller, was originally shocked by the price, she concluded that Anon is worth it after changing lenses in variable Chilean conditions. Available in a variety of styles – ranging from bold Hawaiian to matte black stealth – the WM1 is as top-of-the-line as a backcountry heli drop.
Lens Tech: Wide peripherals were apparent from the get-go. Testers appreciated the Blue Cobalt Lens on bright missions high above treeline in the Andes and Blue Lagoon on fog-socked days.
Bonus: The WM1 also comes with the MF1 system, Anon’s magnetic balaclava, to dodge frostbitten noses and sub-stylish scarves.
