The buttoned phone pocket keeps your phone out of the way while pedaling yet secure enough to not worry about it falling out when you are taking the spicy route to the office or your next brewery stop. The thicker fabric of the Joe Dirt shorts means they will likely stand up to a lot of abuse whether you are camping, working on your bikes, or daily commuting. The fit is quite slim on these shorts so if you aren’t a fan of tighter-fitting shorts these might not be for you, but despite the tight fit the stretch provides plenty of movement so these do not feel restrictive at all.
