Description
No matter which way the wind blew, this under-$100 jacket owned the beach, mountains and hostel. Repurposed ripstop, treated with DWR finish, is less permeable than the featherweight 7oz. piece hints. The form-fitting scuba hood helped when wind and spray kicked in; testers had negligible water inclusion through the ¾ length zipper. Elastic hood, cuffs and hem were plenty while the kangaroo pocket held essentials securely during grocery shopping outings.
