Kahtoola Nanospikes

Ah, to fly across a frozen, forbidding landscape.  Here was our testers’ answer, one wrapped in a beautiful, minimalist form that attached to running shoes with almost no spot pressure on an athlete’s feet. Once again, Kahtoola’s toe straps made proper alignment simple. Designed to track and grip at robust speeds, Nanospikes also worked well for walkers. Unlike many others, this model employs tungsten carbide spikes to penetrate, hold and release while wearing well over hundreds of miles. Connection with the shoes outsole is assured with molded, upturned nubs (47 on each foot in the large size tested).  The zipped carrying pouch demonstrated a readiness to store small and travel easily; as each foot folds flat and in half.
