Similar to the KnifeRidge Jacket, Outdoor Research’s Cirque Pants provide a solid solution to the dilemma of temperature control while skinning. They prevent wind and water from getting through, while letting sweat and vapor get out. This means that, even on cold days, you can get away without wearing a base layer under your pants if you remain active and moving. The Cirque Pants also feature several zippered pockets big enough to accommodate ski straps and energy bars, reinforced scuff guards to prevent cuff shredding, and ankle zippers that allow you to easily fit the cuffs over ski boots.
